Our First Tournament Win.....

Sam's Football team "The Mighty Reds" played fantastic this weekend. We came away with our first tournament win. The girls team also won. They fought hard right through the tournament and deserved to win. It was so nice to see all the hard work pay off that these kids have put into the football. Sam was so excited to of got a winners medal. The size difference in the kids was amazing our team was U12 and Sam was up against some big kids, he handled it well tho' although he did get tackled hard and flew up in the air a couple of times. That was our last tournament for a couple of weeks now, Baseball starts next week so we are all looking forward to that. John wasn't happy today as he realized he has not won anything yet.......!!!! We keep telling him there is still time........

Remember Popash......

Remember Popash, and how we tried to find it on our way back from Fort Myers the last time we were down there, and we drove right past it and couldn't figure it out why we missed it. Well this is what it looked like when we went last week no wonder we past it, they have started to knock it down, we stopped at the side of the road and when I tell you it was weird I mean "really" weird. So weird no one wanted to get out the car to have a photograph taken and last time John did. I was well freaked out and didn't want to stay more than a few seconds.

Friends from the "pool"

We had our friends Peter and Anita come over from Liverpool for the holidays with their kids Sean, Stacey and Chelsea, we had a great time with them. We always have good laughs with them and spent the whole time remembering our younger days, we have all been friends for nearly 20 years, and we really miss them. It was great to see them and look forward to them coming back.
