9-10year old District Champions 08

The day we have all been waiting for, at the opening ceremonies Celebration Little League unveiled the Winners banner for the All Star Championship in July 08. That night was the best experience ever for us all, I will never forget it, I know I keep going on about it but really, you had to be there......... these kids made us so proud, they were the littlest kids in the tournaments with the biggest hearts......! The top picture is Sam with Caroline the president of Celebration Little League, Caroline thanks for being our President, you do a great Job. Second picture Sam is pointing to his name, click on the picture and it enlarges so you can see the team names clearly. Third picture is the team with Coach Jose and Coach Jeff. I hope we get to experience that again some day maybe with John........LOL

Opening Day - Best Buddies

Sam and Alex are still buddies for Challenger Baseball, they have a great time together and really get on well. Alex is big into High School Musical and teaches us the songs and the dances on a Saturday, we also play baseball of course........! Alex was showing us how strong he got over the baseball break, he could lift Sam no problem now. The boys were excited too that they both wear the number 8 shirt for the team they play on. Love the picture of them with their back to us. Sam decided not to play soccer this year, as his games would of been at the same time as Challenger he said there was no way he was leaving Alex to play soccer, now Sam just plays on a travel 3v3 team. Same for John, if he had of played soccer it meant he could not be with Ricky, so John just referees games now after Challenger Baseball.

Opening Day - Baseball Spring 2009

I know, I know I have not been a dedicated blogger lately, Facebook has taken over my life. Today was the opening ceremonies for Celebration Little League. It was a great morning and the kids enjoyed themselves. John and Sam both walked out with their teams and then went to help with their Challenger Athletes. John and Sam were two of the kids honoured for being in the League since the first season. They have now played 9 seasons with Celebration Little League time has gone so fast. We have loved every minute of it and are looking forward to the new season. The top picture is Sam with the green T Shirt on and the bottom is John in the middle of the picture.
