Wow, what an amazing week of sports, first Sam, he won the Middle School Basketball Championship, then John winning last night the Florida State League. We took the long road upto Jacksonville yesterday, we went up there as the underdogs but boy did we play with hope and heart, we beat a tough tough team that we have lost too twice. We came out confident and ready to fire. I cant tell you how proud I am of the boys and the teams they play on, each and every kid is a pleasure to be associated with. The opposing Coach was a Scottish guy and after the games each time we have played them he always comes to congratulate John for the way he played, yesterday was no exception, he came up to him and said "Keeper, tremendous job as always keep it up"..... Which I thought was very good of him seeing as he had just been smoked......!!!!! In the team huddle at the start of the game John sang for the team "Poor Scouser Tommy" to get them all fired up, one day we will teach them the words, it sure worked...........!
